We hope you all had a good Easter.
This terms topic is 'around the world' and over the next few weeks, we will be visiting some wonderful places in our imaginations. Hope you are looking forward to Monday when we will be revealing our first destination!
Along with learning about the countries that we are visiting, we would also like you to look out for interesting stories in the news that are occuring around the world. If you find any please can you bring some information in about it and we will put it on our world news board.
The days that homework is handed in has slightly changed. New homework will be handed out on a Friday as before, but needs to be handed in by the following Wednesday.
Remember to read lots at home and practise your spellings if you have them

Just a reminder: We change reading books on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and we check reading records on a Friday. If they have read three or more times then they get a stamp. Then if they get a stamp every week they get a prize at the end of each half term. Please could you ensure that you read with your child each week and record it each time in their record book.
Remember outdoor PE is on a Wednesday afternoon (please remember approropriate kit especially as the weather is becoming colder). Indoor PE is on a Friday. Outdoor trainers as well as indoor pumps are needed please.
