FRANCE DAY 3
26th February 2014
Another action packed day in France as we ventured to Disneyland. A mixture of both French and American culture greeted us as the children were fascinated by the enormous, magical buildings. Needless to say, cameras are now full of picture after picture of the castle and mountains and volcanoes, and a few Disney characters too. However, the most exciting part was certainly the rides with the main highlights being Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain and Buzz Lightyear. The hairiest moment was when all 35 pupils entered the maze, raced to the centre and then struggled to find the exit. The most eye opening moment was the children's faces in the Disney shop when they realised how much things actually cost.
Overall, an excellent day. The children are absolutely exhausted and are just settling into bed but it has all been worth it for such a wonderful experience at Disneyland. Unfortunately, we could not get as many photos as we have done on others days but the ones we do have I will upload tomorrow.
The day was finished off with a campfire, songs and toasting marshmallows over the fire, a perfect end to the day.
Paris tomorrow... if the children manage to get up...
