Trenches
As part of our topic on World War 1, 6SB have been learning all about life in the trenches and trench warfare. In class we have built our own trenches from clay; the class split into two teams to build the best trench and filled each trench with plastic soldiers. The trenches were supported with lollipop stick as duckboards. Each team then took it in turns to bomb each others trenches with stones to see who had built the best and sturdiest trench.
