Trent Bridge Cricket Ground
Our visit to the home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket, Trent Bridge, was enjoyed by all the children. They took part in Literacy, Numeracy, Geography and History lessons before going to Trent Bridge's own library to meet Mr Peter Wynn-Thomas who made them laugh with his stories of the history of the Ashes. In the afternoon the children were taught cricket skills, by the coaches, before they had an enjoyable if not fast game of 'continuous cricket'.
