Today's creative activities are all linked to our world.

Depending on what you have to hand in your home you may need to make a few adjustments to the activity.

We would much rather you adapt an activity than make additional journeys outside your home.

You may want to have a go at all, or some of these activities or you may have some good ideas of your own.

Here is a map of the world for you to colour. Colour the sea in blue and the land in green. If you want to colour any deserts in yellow, and the arctic in white - add trees to rainforests etc than you could do that too!

Make some ice with your grown up

- what do you have to do? How long does it take?

When it is ready think about what it feels like...

You could paint on it and see what happens...

You could investigate how you could make it melt...

If you freeze some already coloured water you could see what happens to the colours as the ice cubes melt together.

Grow your own rainbow - colour the ends of a piece of kitchen towel with felt tipped pens - put the ends in water and watch as the colour spreads and makes a rainbow

Make your own volcano...

Go for a walk...

we don't have any mountains, deserts, volcanoes, waterfalls or a beach

in Worksop

- but see if you can find some woods, and a pond!

I wonder if anyone can find this place?

Put on your wellies and have fun in the mud

- I did this in the holidays with my children, and although they ended up filthy, they had an amazing time!
