Hi to our lovely Lions and Tigers
We know that you would rather be in school and that right now you and your families may be finding things hard. This webpage has a whole selection of activities and ideas for you, but we want you to take each day as it comes. Some days you may be up for doing loads, other days not so much and that is ok, main thing is to be kind to yourselves and try and have fun with the activities. As with the previous lockdown we know that you will find a way that works for you and your family. We are here to support you however we can.
Please do use the class emails and Tapestry to keep in touch, whether it is about what games you played, where you walked, what you achieved or what you ate for breakfast. We really do want to hear from you. We will always aim to get replies back to you quickly.
This page will be updated regularly with ideas of what you can do at home, linking to the topic planned to be taught in school for any children remote learning.
All of the other pages from prior to September will remain on the Tigers old link if you wish to use those resources.
You can also access many resources on the Destination September, White Rose Maths, Oak Academy and DFE phonics - YouTube channel please follow the links below.
Please use Tapestry to share evidence of your learning, this will mean at the end of the year you have a complete record in the journal.
Our class email addresses are email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org and we aim to reply quickly to any emails during the working day.
Please only use these email addresses and tapestry for sharing evidence of learning, general questions and queries should continue to be communicated via the school office.
Keep up the fantastic hard work, we miss you and we hope to see you all really soon,
Mrs Pickering, Mrs Clements and Miss Brunt.
In your child's reading records you should find a password for these 2 online learning platforms.
If you have any trouble accessing them email your class email address.
Have fun learning.
Today is Internet Safety Day
(Tuesday 9th February)
I have included a video below that I would like you to find time to watch together with your child.
If you can't find time today, that's fine - but try to watch it soon.
It is a lovely story and includes opportunities for you to ask your child their thoughts about what they should do...
