I have included the blank 10 frame again for you to use alongside todays lesson
for anyone who didn't do this yesterday.
(if you made one yesterday skip the next waffle and go straight to the lesson link!!!)
If you can't print this out don't worry, you can just draw one.
Just make sure that there are 2 lines of 5 spaces (like 2 5 frames stuck on top of one another)
You will also need some counters
ideally these should be 10 double sided counters, one colour on one side, and a different colour on the other
(but it doesn't matter which 2 colours you use)
if you have some card (or paper) and cut circles that fit in the 10 frame that would be perfect.
KEEP THESE SAFE SO YOU CAN USE THEM OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS
During todays lesson try to encourage your child to make their 10 frame match the one in the lesson.
If you need to pause the video to let them catch up that's fine.
See if you can use your 10 frame to show how many there are altogether.
Represent the spots from one side of the domino in one colour counter,
and from the other in the other colour of counter.
Can they tell how many there are altogether just by looking at the 10 frame?
Maybe you could also write the number sentence to match.
