Playdough is a wonderful thing to play with.
We have a playdough area of provision within our F2 classroom and the children have the opportunity to use it on a daily basis.
As it has so many benefits in developing hand muscle strength we hope you will do some playdough play at home. It is also great fun to make together and can last a long time. There is a recipe below.
Squeezing, rolling and poking the playdough all helps to develop hand strength which will aid your child in how they hold and control a pencil.
We recommend 'dough disco'; links to this are below.
