Supporting anxious children

Fear of Failure

 

Children will sometimes avoid doing work or activities because they are afraid that they will not succeed. We've all heard our children at some point complain that something is "too hard", and how often have we said it ourselves? This fear of failure may appear more often as the children are trying to complete their school work without support from their teachers, teaching assistants and peers. Below are 5 tips to help you to encourage your child to keep trying and meet those challenges and others head on and build resilience.
