Spring turns into summer in Mrs Clements garden

I have found lots of beautiful spring flowers in my garden.

Forget-me-nots
Hyacinth
Daffodils
???

I am watching the leaves on my tree slowly grow as it wakes up from its winter sleep.

Look at the leaves now!

Look what happens to the fronds (leaves) of this fern as it slowly wakes up...

Look how beautiful it is now.

Today I found another fern waking up in my garden after the rain...

What do you think is growing here?

Did you guess? Yes they are bluebells.

Look what's happening to my bluebells now... I wonder what's in those big green pods?

I sprinkled some wild flower seeds in my garden...

For 2 weeks there was nothing...
but then look what I found...

I can now see even more shoots... I think they liked the rain last week.

I think my wild flower garden has enjoyed the rain this week as well...

Can you eye spy the little pink flower...
I wonder what will happen next?

I have another tree in my garden. Earlier in the year there was lots of white blossom on it, and now the blossom is growing into a fruit. I wonder whether anyone knows what the fruit will be.

Can you see how the fruit is changing?

I have also noticed that this bush is waking up and beginning to grow its fruit. Can anyone guess what the fruit will be?

The fruits are getting bigger and bigger...

I've also spotted these plants growing in my grass.

Daisies
Dandelions

I wonder what else I will find...

Take a photo of something growing in your garden and send it to us...

Ask your grown-up to help, as it can be tricky

We'd love to see your photographs

Why don't you tell us about what signs of spring you see and the things that you are growing.

If you send us any photos we can add them to our galleries.

Enjoy being nature detectives.
