The Little Elf

Hello! smiley

I bet you are wondering who The Little Elf is?

Well here you will find out all about him!

Here is a story about a little Elf who can’t have a normal birthday because he has to stay in his tree to be safe from a scary new green cloud that has appeared. Does that sound familiar? Maybe you have missed something special as well because of the virus that appeared? Find out all about him.

The Little Elf Story - Miss Galloway has had a go at reading the story to you, so if you click the speaker on each page you should hear her.

When you have read or listened to the story I want you to have a think about how it has made you feel. Here are some questions that you could ask yourself or a family member who has listened with you:

  • Is there any character or part of the story you would like to draw a picture of together?
  • Is there any character or part of the story you would like to talk about?
  • How do you think the Little Elf was feeling before he met the woodpecker?
  • How do you think the Little Elf was feeling at the end of the story?
  • How do you think Grandfather Elf was feeling?
  • How do you think the other elves in the trees were feeling?
  • What do you think the elves did while they had to stay in their trees?
  • How did they keep in touch with their friends?
  • What ideas do you have about what might happen next in the story?
