On Tuesday, you should have written the sixth paragraph about your astronaut's life now.
Today, I would like you to write the final part of your conclusion. This part needs to include:
For your opinion, use the first person - Use 'I'. For example - I think that Neil Armstrong was incredibly brave because he was the first man on the Moon to explore an unknown place.
Remember to use paragraphs to separate new ideas and changes of time and place. Use TIPTOP to help you.
Biographies are written in the past tense and in third person - apart from your opinion on them (that is in the first person).
CHALLENGE - Add a quote from someone in your family about your chosen astronaut. What do they think about them?
If you have finished your sixth paragraph, spend some time editing your work. Have you used punctuation and capital letters correctly? Can you add more detail? Can you use an expanded noun phrase? Can you add brackets? You could add a relative clause or a fronted adverbial.
I look forward to reading your brilliant sixth paragraph. Use the class email to send me your paragraph.
