40th Anniversary Celebrations
What a fantastic day for St John's Primary School as we celebrated our 40th Birthday!
All the children made a wonderful effort to dress up in 1970's clothes and it was almost like going back in time!
Well done to all the children who brought in some beautiful cakes for our 'Bake Off'. Unfortunately, we could not choose them all as winners but all their efforts were so brilliant. Pia Slater went through from 6SB to the final for the cake with the best appearance and Fraser Gaddes reached the final for being voted as the best tasting.
The festivities continued at lunchtime when we were all treated to an outdoor picnic with some specially prepared 1970's food.
A wonderful day was had by all the children. Thank you for getting in the spirit of things and coming to school in some wonderful retro outfits and creating some amazing cakes for the Bake Off.
