FRANCE DAY 2 PART 2

What a thrilling afternoon we have had! There has been sweat, tears and laughter and that was just from the teachers. For today we have become expert archers, towered the wobbly heights of the trapeze and scaled an enormous tree to fly down the terrifying zip-wire. Some of the highlights were the boys racing each other in time to the top, Jessica beating the boys times with ease and Adam getting stuck in his harness for 20 minutes (he forgot to unfasten the clip because he was too busy laughing!) Olivia and Beth were both adamant that they were not doing any of it only to find that they completed the lot. There have been some real displays of bravery today as all the children were able to overcome their fears and take up the challenge. I have been very proud of their St John's spirit and especially with how they have all encouraged each other and been so supportive of their class mates. The centre staff have commented upon how much they have tried to motivate and take care of each other. Yet again they have proved they are a real credit to the school.
Take a look at the photos, they will show how much fun all the children have had and that the experience has been thoroughly worth it.
The children are currently making crepes - there have been many jokes leading up to this evening as the children seem to find crepe making hilarious, I can't think why...
