Hello there!
Hope you have all had a lovely weekend. I hope you have been doing some lovely things.
What lovely sunshine we have had.

I am looking forward to hearing about what you have been doing.

What a busy week we have had. We had such a great time at Cleethorpes on Monday.
You collected some lovely shells from the beach.

I am so proud of you all for doing a brilliant job in our KS1 class assembly.
Well done to all of you.

On Thursday morning - 11th July it is our Sport's Day! Come on Year 1!!!

I hope you are all enjoying our Topic - Pirates!
I have been really impressed with how much you know.

WOW!!! Well done to everyone who tried really hard with their homework spellings. I am very proud. Also some fantastic handwriting.
Keep up the great work.
The small blue spelling books will be marked and stamped every week and new ones will be sent out on Friday's. Please note, that this is instead of the large blue homework books.

Next week in literacy we are going to be very busy. We have a new story in literacy to share together. We are going to be finding out about characters and how the plot is set out within our new story.

This week in numeracy we will be ordering numbers.

This week in topic we are going to be having so much fun. How much do you know about pirates?
If you have anything at home you would like to bring in and share with us that would be brilliant!
