If you are going on the Whitby trip this Wednesday please can you pack your St John's cap (or a blue one) as this will make it easier to spot you all when we are out and about. Try and pack your own case with an adult so that you know what was in there when it's time to repack and remember to practise making a bed as you will have this job to do when we arrive!
Fingers crossed that the sun will shine for us

I have read the opening paragraph of your stories. WOW. I am so impressed. I feel so sorry for James. Your word choices are fantastic. I'm looking forward to finding out what happens next. Remember the next paragraph is about the magic watermelon growing. In the actual story a strange man appears and gives James a bag of magic crocodile tongues which escape into the ground. I think you can come up with something even more imaginative for your story. I better go write my second paragraph so that I can show you it tomorrow.
8-5-13
Don't forget that we are visiting the community allotment project tomorrow afternoon. Your permission slips need to be handed in or you will not be able to join us.

During this topic we will be studying different minibeasts looking at their special features, what they eat and where they live.
We will also be enjoying Roald Dahls fantastic book - James and the giant peach. I am sure this will help to inspire you with your story writing as this term you will be writing your own adventure story.
