Welcome to 4RP
This term we are learning about Africa! We will be finding out about this exciting continent and concentrating mainly on the country of Kenya.
We had a fantastic and very busy week last week. It was our 40th anniversary and then we had a great day on Friday playing tennis. Check out some of the pictures below.
Don't forget it is our Parent's meeting about the London residential on Thursday at 5:30.
Also we are visiting St John's Church on Wednesday and an African Dance group are coming into school on Friday to work with us. It looks like it's going to be another busy week!
We've had a fantastic time in London and everybody behaved brilliantly! I'm sure you've got lots to share, why not take a look at the photographs? I'm going to catch up on some sleep!!!
Numeracy homework will be given every week. You will also receive spellings and times tables. Please make sure you are learning them at home. Don't forget to bring your reading book and diary into school every day. Make sure you are reading at home and record any reading in your diary.
You will need to bring your indoor P.E. kit on a Monday and your outdoor on Tuesdays. Swimming has now stopped for the Year 4s but will resume again when they are in Year 5.
The Year 4 residential will be to London this year, on July 9th till the 10th. I can't wait to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!
