Bag Packing at Morrisons for the Royal British Legion
Congratulations to all the pupils from St John's Primary School who helped pack bags for the customers of Morrisons on Saturday 21st June. Many of the customers commented on how excellently behaved and well-mannered all the children were. Lots of the pupils commented on how they felt like they had completed a real day's work and they certainly improved their confidence, speaking abilities and customer service skills.
Our hard work was all in aid of the Royal British Legion and we raised a fantastic £776! Well done and thank you to all the children and the teachers who gave up their time voluntarily to support this important cause. These funds will be added to any donations from Military Day (Saturday 28th June) to make a grand total to support our charity this term.
