Java Shadow Puppets
To kick off the term we have gone right back over 2000 years ago to look at entertainment and how it all started. Java puppets and shadow shows are arguably the beginnings of cinema as we know it today. We learnt that they are bright and colourful characters with lots of detail.
The children desinged thier own Java, Turkish or Chinese shadow puppets and they made some fantastic creations!!
