Worksop Guardian Awards - Best Green School
On Monday 18th June, pupils, staff and parents from St John's went to the Worksop Guardian Best in Schools Award Ceremony at the Town Hall. Jake Childe (Year 6), Luke Emmerson (Year 6), Mrs Childe, Mrs Emmerson, Mr White, Miss Barratt and Mrs Foy all attended the ceremony and enjoyed a delicious 3-course meal.
At the ceremony, St John's won the award for the Best Green School and Mrs Foy, Luke and Jake went up to receive the award from a local celebrity, Claire Frizbee (who presents the news on BBC Look North). This is a well deserved accolade as Mrs Foy and her Eco Team have worked so hard to improve the outdoor learning environment. We are very proud of all that they have done and of our new award.
