Welcome to 3HS!

Hi and welcome to our class page.
Do you have any ideas for this page? Why not let us know!

14-7-13

See you in the morning, I am really looking forward to our trip to The Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Please remember to wear sensible shoes and your school uniform. It's going to be hot so don't forget your cap, sun cream and plenty of water but remember you have to carry your bag around all day so make sure it's not too heavy. YWP is part of the Children's University so bring your passport to receive a stamp - hand it into me in the morning before we leave.

10-7-13

Sports day tomorrow, please wear sun cream and bring a drink as it's forecast a hot day. Remember to come in your kit, wearing a t-shirt in your team colour and to bring your uniform to change into after.

8-7-13
Remember that tomorrow afternoon you will be meeting your teacher for next year.

6-7-13
Can you believe we only have 2 weeks left at school until we finish for our well deserved Summer holidays?
No time to slow down though, we have our minibeast poems and leaflets to finish off and our Yorkshire Wildlife trip, sports day, Proms in the playground and Ugly Bug Ball to look forward to.

28-6-13
Mrs Worsley has been looking after us for a couple of days this week as Miss Hewson has taken the Y4 children on a 3 day trip to Whitby.
While their classmates have been at Whitby, the remaining Y4's have joined us for a great couple of days. We have had lots of FUN working together to create our own minbeast board games. Check them out in the gallery.

Super bouncing today everyone - WELL DONE!
Please hand in any sponsor money you've managed to collect by this Friday (17th) so that the PTA can start counting.

I hope you enjoyed our D & T topic this afternoon, which was your favourite smoothie?

We will continue to work on this topic throughout the week.

2-6-13
Remember school starts again tomorrow, I hope you've all had a good holiday.
Please bring in any leaflets that you've picked up tomorrow as we will be using these in Literacy this week.
See you all tomorrow, enjoy the sun today.

27-5-13
What a lovely weekend it's been, I hope you've all stocked up on sun cream!
If you are lucky enough to enjoy a day out this week please pick up a leaflet to share with the class as when we return to school we will be designing our own.

24-5-13
Phew! What a busy half term it's been and how fast it's flown. You have worked really hard on our topic and your stories based on James are really coming together.
Well done to everyone who has collected stamps in their Children's University passport this term, why not visit a learning destination if you are lucky enough to have a day out next week to collect more. Check out the CU section on the clubs page for ideas of where to go.
Have a great week.

22-5-13
Polite notice - At home time on Friday all lost property from the Y3-4 cloakroom/classrooms will be collected and displayed outside in the playground for you to have a look at. Any items left which are unnamed will then be donated to charity.

16-5-13
Wow, your still life paintings from this afternoon are looking great. Well done everyone. I will take photos of them to add into our gallery so that you can show them off.
You are all working so hard on your James stories which are building up nicely into exciting adventures. I can't wait till they are finished.

I have found a really nice website with interesting facts all about bees. I have pasted a link below so that you can take a look as we have been learning about bees in class this week.
