Olympic Torch
On Monday the 2nd July we must have been the luckiest children in Worksop because we had a very special surprise.
Michelle Harrop who comes into school every Monday afternoon to teach athletic skills to the year 5 and 6 children brought her Olympic torch to show us.
Michelle had been part of the torch relay on Friday, running through Bolsover.
We couldn't believe our eyes when Miss Carlton brought the torch in to show us and we even got a chance to hold it and have our photograph taken.
